For most estate spares and fixtures, SLS nylon is the sweet spot: rugged, chemically tolerant, no supports to remove, and viable from a single part up to a 500-off batch. A note on materials for chemical units
PA12 is our standard nylon. For stiffer duty we offer PA12-GF (glass-filled, roughly 30% higher stiffness for structural housings) and PA12-CF (carbon-filled, the highest stiffness-to-weight). For gaskets, dampers and flexible seals we print TPU 88A/95A. We are always explicit that additive nylon is not a universal replacement for a chemically-specified elastomer or a certified pressure component — for anything in a corrosive or safety-critical service, share the fluid and temperature and we will advise honestly on whether additive is appropriate.
